June Prayer Gram

Dear Prayer Partners,

The trees of the LORD are watered abundantly, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted (Psalms 104:16, ESV).

It's raining

Greetings from soggy Sedhiou!  Yes, the rainy season is in full swing.  Many fields are being plowed. The women are beginning to break up the rice fields.  Corn is starting to sprout up around many houses.  Please pray that the Lord will give a good growing season this year.  Please also pray for good health as the work is so strenuous!

Fellowship

Richard and I just got back from our cluster meeting.  Thank you for praying for our travels.  It was a wonderful time of worship and edification.  We thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and came away refreshed and renewed...

Meghan's Take

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect coming to Sedhiou. My heart was ready but I still wasn’t prepared for the reality of living here for almost 3 weeks. The Mandinka people are beautiful. I’m an outsider, they have no reason to even want me...

Challenges

We do count on your prayers.  Rainy season has lots of challenges for getting an audience with the Mandinka.  Please pray that we will be able to meet with our groups in the villages as well as have good meetings in town.  Please pray for discipleship opportunities during this season.  Please pray that we will be the vessels that God has called us to be.

Thank You

We thank you so much for lifting up the Mandinka people, team, and our family.  We are humbled by your perseverance to lift these requests on our behalf.
Your sister in Christ,

Fran
