The Son

Dear Prayer Partners,

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36, ESV)

Neighbors

Thank you so much for praying for Richard and me.  We had a sweet time with family and friends while we were in the states.  We had good flights and are back in swing of things, visiting village groups and neighborhood compounds.  We have had several deaths in our neighborhood, so it has been a time or reaching out and ministering close to our home.  We have been reminded again of how important each day is to share our hope with our neighbors.

Peace

We would like to ask each of you to please take the time to pray for our neighboring country, The G@mbi@.  Their election is December 1.  Pray that the people’s voice will be heard and God’s hedge of protection will be upon the people.  There have been reports of offenses even against young ones.  The MNK are the majority in that country, but they have been the target of criticism from the current leader.  Pray that this will be a time for many in that country to search for the one true God.  Pray that peace will prevail.

Christmas Goodies

I am behind in my baking, but plan to get ready to share some sweets during the Christmas season.   We will be visiting some local businesses and government offices to pray with them and share the Good Tidings of Great Joy!  We pray that this small token may spark an interest to know more of Christ.

Lottie Moon

During this Christmas season, we ask that you prayerfully consider your gift to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  100% of the offering goes to the field.  This enables missionaries around the world to concentrate on the ministry that each one is called to do.  The also enables us as Southern Baptists to work together in unity for God’s purpose.  Prayer is our first need, but we also respectfully ask that you consider giving financially to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  We are incredibly blessed to be a part of the Southern Baptist family.  Instead of getting bogged down with politics, lets stay focused on glorifying God with our time, gifts, and talents.

Family

Thank you for lifting our family in prayer.  Daniel will be coming out for a visit this Christmas!  Please pray that he will finish school well before he travels.  Alex is still deployed.  Please remember he, Emily and Aaron during this separation, and that they will be counting down to a reunion in the near future.  Pray for Patrick ask he continues to work and pursue a contract with the Marines.  We are thankful for the many ways that we can communicate when we are separated by many miles. We pray that you experience a fresh the Joy of Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
